Maple Pumpkin Spice Latte
Maple Pumpkin Spice Latte
There is something so comforting and inviting about fall. It brings with it: warm flavours, your favourite sweater and a true sense of settling down after a wild and free summer. Once the trees start to change into their autumn glory, we begin to feel that change in us as well.
In our house, we are obsessed with pumpkins and my kids love to eat anything with pumpkin. I'm not sure if they are in it for the pumpkin flavour or for what the pumpkin signifies and the season it brings.

Now here is the icing on the cake, pumpkin spice tea is the base to make a simple tea latte in just a few simple steps and you don't need any thing on hand except for milk, maple syrup and a splash of vanilla and of course the tea.
Here is the recipe for a simple Maple Pumpkin Spice Latte that you can whip up in under 8 minutes.
- Bring 1.5 cups of milk to a steam. I like to use a vanilla flavoured oat milk.
- Turn the stove off and add 3 heaping tsp of Pumpkin Spice Tea to the milk. Let steep for up to 5 min. Note - if your making a larger portion add 3 tsp per 1.5 cups of milk.
- While the tea is steeping put 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1 tbls maple syrup in a 12 oz mug.
- Pour the hot milk, while straining through an infuser, cheese cloth or strainer, into the mug. garnish with a dash of cinnamon powder. Enjoy!
